Drop-Off Workshops
Drop-off workshops will immerse your child in creative-thinking, hands-on learning, and fun through different themes!
Join us for drop-off workshops at the Duluth Children’s Museum! Drop-off workshops are designed for children ages 5-10 and are led by our museum educators. All drop-off workshops are drop off-pick up and include admission to the museum.
This is a drop-off class. Parents may drop off their child and pick up at the end of the workshop. Drop off waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian prior to entry to class. We recommend bringing a light snack and water bottle for your child. (Note: the DCM is a nut-free facility)
Cost: $30 per participant or $25 for current museum members (membership must be current as of day of event). Ticket price includes snack (juice box and small snack) and museum admission for event participants.

A special drop-off workshop with paleontologist Emily Halbakken
Dig into the past and uncover ancient secrets! In this hands-on workshop, kids ages 5–10 will:

- Search real rocks for ancient coral (and take their rock home!)
- Create their own dinosaur skeleton art

Unleash your creativity and join 'DCM presents...', our exciting new initiative offering unique classes and programs led by local educators at the Duluth Children's Museum!
The Duluth Children's Museum is excited to announce our new class & program initiative to provide space for local educators to share their time & talents with area youth, adults & families.
"DCM presents..." will open our museum spaces up to the community for classes, programs, and special events when the museum is not open to the general public. The Duluth Children's Museum will handle the logistics related to room reservations, class registration, and will provide set up &
take down assistance the day of your program or class.

Join instructor Ginger Juel as she facilitates this workshop focused on adults & children creating artistic 3D collages.
This workshop is meant for adults & children to work together on the project.
DCM Presents Workshops are designed for children ages 3-11 and their adult(s) and are led by special guests and our museum educators.
This is a together class - children must attend with an adult. Additional children are welcome with a supervising adult.
Cost: $30 for a combination (adult/child) ticket; additional adult(s) & children are $15/participant.Ticket price includes all workshop materials (1 project per adult/child combination) and museum admission for event participants.
